After a lot of hard work, travel, haggling and packing this week we finally moved into our house in West Cork, Ireland. From living in an urban area only two minutes walk from a railway station and within ten minutes of eight pubs, countless restaurants and shops we are now a ten minute drive to the nearest village and our nearest neighbours are cows and sheep! We are in a protected, fertile valley looked over by the imposing heft of Mount Gabriel standing at 407m (1335ft). At night the radar station at the mountain’s peak lights up like a scene from Close Encounters of the Third Kind!
As a result there is no full article this week but you there is plenty to look forward to including introductions to the incredible West Cork Creative scene, some big theatre reviews, and a Festive Special! Coming up in the New Year an exclusive series of podcast interviews will start dropping into your Inbox giving you the chance to hear from some of my favourite up and coming creatives!
